For small and medium UK service businesses, from painters and decorators to home care providers, beauticians and removals companies, and for small online shops. You work directly with me, Sandi, on every part of your account. No agency, no handovers, no junior staff.
No obligation, no sales pitch. Whether you're already running Google Ads or starting from scratch, I'll tell you straight whether I can help.
If any of these ring true, we should talk.
Paying for clicks that never turn into enquiries or sales
An agency or freelancer who set it up and then went quiet
Ads showing for searches that have nothing to do with what you sell
Reports you can't make sense of, so you can't tell if it's working
Trying to run it yourself on top of running the business
Never tried Google Ads, and not sure whether it would pay for a business like yours
Google Ads will tell you that you had twelve conversions last month. It won't tell you that four were spam, two were people selling you something, and six were real customers asking for a quote. Lead tracking software does.
I set it up alongside your account, and it records every phone call and captures every form your ads bring in. We listen to the calls, read the forms and mark each one as a genuine enquiry or not. The spam gets filtered out, and the account gets optimised on the leads that mattered, not on a count.
It goes further if you want it to. Each genuine enquiry can carry the value you quoted, so Google learns which searches bring in the jobs worth having, not just the enquiries. If you keep track of your customers in a CRM system and your sales close fairly quickly, the sales you actually win can be fed back too. For a longer sales cycle, the quote value does that job.
It is an extra monthly cost on top of management, priced for the size of your account. On our call I'll tell you whether it's worth it for you. For a business that lives on calls, form enquiries and emails rather than online sales, it usually is.
A straightforward process. No surprises, no complicated onboarding.
We talk about your business, your goals and your budget. If you already run Google Ads, I'll look at the account and give you my headline findings on the call. I'll tell you honestly whether Google Ads is right for you. If you want a full written audit of an existing account, that's a separate piece of work I'll quote for.
New account or existing, the foundations get sorted before we spend. That means conversion tracking, the campaign structure, keywords and the negatives list, and the search terms report. It also means audiences, the bidding strategy, the ad schedule, where the ads show and to whom, budgets, the ad copy and assets, and the page the ads land on. Google's automatic changes get switched off.
Campaigns go live. I review search terms every fortnight, optimise as the data comes in, and we talk every month for the first three months. After that you get a quarterly report you can actually read, and a quarterly review call if it is needed.
Every account is different, so I don't list one-size-fits-all packages. On our call I'll learn what you're trying to achieve, how much you want to spend and how hands-on you want me to be, then give you a clear fixed monthly fee. A small account pays a small fee. No hidden extras.
That is what you pay Google for the clicks, separate from my fee. Below it there isn't enough data to make Google Ads work, and I'd rather tell you than take your money.
Long enough to see results, short enough that you stay because it's working.
The fee covers the management, the reviews and the reporting. Anything extra gets quoted before it starts, never added afterwards.
What I don't do: big e-commerce, businesses outside the UK, or anything I can't stand behind.

Want to hear from a current client? I'm happy to connect you. Just ask.
After 30 years in healthcare, as a nurse, midwife, project manager and educator, I moved into running my own small businesses. I know first-hand what it takes to build something from scratch and make every pound count.
That led me to Google Ads in 2018. I spent seven years managing campaigns inside an agency before going fully independent in 2025. I work directly with a small number of clients, so each one gets proper attention.
I'll always be honest with you about what's working, what isn't, and where your money is best spent.
It depends on your business, your budget and how much work the account needs, so I quote per client after our call. You'll get one clear monthly fee, and anything extra is agreed before it starts.
Yes, £300 a month. Below that Google doesn't get enough data to learn from, and you'd be paying me to manage something that can't work.
No. Three months to start, then 30 days' notice.
You do. I work inside your own Google Ads account, and everything stays with you if we ever part ways.
With the call. We talk through what you do, who you want to reach and what you can spend, and I'll tell you honestly whether Google Ads is likely to pay for a business like yours. If it is, I build the account from scratch with tracking in place before any money is spent.
Yes, briefly. On our call I'll take a short look and give you my headline findings. If you want a full written audit with recommendations, that's a paid piece of work and I'll quote for it.
Small and medium UK service businesses, and small online shops. Clients past and present include painters and decorators, home care providers, removals companies, a commercial surfacing contractor, a fibreglass manufacturer, a makeup and hair artist, a beauty and wellness studio, an orthotic clinic, an office space provider, a charity on Google Ad Grants, property developers, a baby photography studio and a magician. I don't take on big e-commerce or businesses outside the UK.
It depends on your budget and your market, so I won't promise a date. The first couple of weeks are about making sure tracking works and real enquiries are coming through. After that the account needs enough data to judge properly, and on a smaller budget that takes longer. I'll tell you what I'm seeing at each monthly call rather than guess early.
Google Ads counts conversions: a call button pressed, a form sent. It can't tell whether the person was a customer or a salesman. Lead tracking software records the calls and captures the forms, so we can mark each one as a genuine enquiry or not and optimise the account on the real ones. It's an optional extra with its own monthly cost, and I'll tell you on our call whether your account would get value from it.
Tracking is set up before we spend, so you'll see enquiries, not just clicks. You get a quarterly report in plain English, and you can ask me anything in between.
Whether you're starting from scratch or need someone to take over an existing account, I'm happy to have an honest conversation about whether we're a good fit.
No obligation, no sales pitch. Or send me a message using the form, or email sandi@sandbar-solutions.co.uk, and I'll get back to you within one working day.
